So I'm going to share my initial thoughts (which are incredibly FAIL) about Glee:

I first saw Glee through twitter as to everyone's tweeting about it (it's in Trending Topics) and I got interested and watch a video. The video I watched is Vocal Adrenaline's Rehab, and I don't really have idea during that time that those who are performing aren't the main characters and I lost interest because I thought it's just another HSM or musical with extravagant dance numbers. Then last September 2009, I downloaded Don't stop believin' and got hook with it. I search for more Glee music that time and I only downloaded Gold Digger, and don't really like it (at first!). And it's only last December when I decided to buy its soundtrack, yet I still haven't watched the show itself. Though, before I bought the CD, I searched about Glee and found out about Kurt Hummel/Chris Colfer and got interested (C'mon! A teenager + gay character? It's kinda impossible now to find it! And ugh! He's so... white).

And when I checked out the booklet of the album, I have some FAIL thoughts about the casts/characters:

1.) First, I thought Mercedes is Quinn. I earlier said that I searched about Glee and found out about Kurt Hummel. I only read about Kurt Hummel and read that he came out to Mercedes in an episode and then I didn't read the part that Mercedes has a crush on Kurt because of cheerios' scheme. Though I remember reading Cheerios. And yeah, I thought Mercedes is Quinn (And Hate on Me? The song says it all). And Mercedes sounds mean and girly and cheerleader-y for me. And that's my first FAIL misconception I've shared.

2.) Next, I thought April is Emma. Because I thought the name April fits Emma's look. And that's a first sign of my support to Wemma. Lol. But still, that's an epic fail of mine.

3.) I thought Quinn is Tina. I don't know. That's so fail of me. :\

I also planned on making a review about the soundtrack alongside Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster, stating that it will make things balance as I thought Glee is somehow conservative and everything. Though it's not really a fail thought, it's still a misconception of mine.

But I really consider this one as my most fail misconception about glee, ever: Glee = another HSM . Seriously. That's the worst misconception I ever know. like, WTH or WTF. :\

Conclusion:

watch Glee and you'll find out that difference between Glee and any other musical you've seen. Seriously. It's different. and way more interesting.
